Return & Cancellation Policy | Fixit – e-Commerce Solutions
This Refund and Cancellation Policy defines the terms and conditions governing the cancellation of assignments and refunds for services provided by Fixit.
By assigning a project, paying a deposit, and/or using our services, the Client declares that they have taken note of and unreservedly accept this policy.
For the purchase of ready-made digital products (plugins, extensions, Themes) available through our website, a “14-Day Money-Back Guarantee” policy applies.
1. Nature of Services & Right of Withdrawal Exception
Fixit provides strictly digital and personalized services, including but not limited to:
Development and customization of websites & e-shops.
Development of custom software, code, and functionalities.
Technical support, maintenance, and consulting services.
Due to the digital nature of the services and their customization to the Client's specific requirements, there is no right of withdrawal or refund after the commencement of the project's execution, in accordance with the applicable legislation on digital content supply and service provision contracts.
2. Cancellation Before the Commencement of Works
In the event that the Client wishes to cancel the assignment before the commencement of any work by the Company:
Cancellation is accepted only in writing (via email).
Any deposit paid may be refunded, after any bank charges or administrative costs already incurred have been deducted.
3. Cancellation After the Commencement of Works
If the cancellation is requested by the Client after the commencement of the project's implementation:
No refunds are issued for works that have already been executed or delivered.
The Client is obliged to settle the payment for all works that have been completed or are in progress up to the date of cancellation.
The Company delivers to the Client the part of the project that has been implemented (source code, files, drafts), provided that the corresponding accrued fees have been paid.
4. Subscription Services & Support Packages
For services with recurring billing (e.g., maintenance packages, hosting, technical support/SLA):
Payments already made for the current period are non-refundable.
The subscription cancellation request will take effect from the next billing cycle.
The Client retains the right to use the service until the expiration of the already paid period.
5. Delays Attributable to the Client
The Company bears no responsibility and is not obliged to issue a refund if the project is delayed or cancelled due to:
Failure by the Client to provide materials, access codes, or necessary information in a timely manner.
Delayed response to requests for approval or changes in specifications.
Inability to communicate with the Client for a period of more than 30 days (the project may be considered “abandoned”).
6. Third-Party Services
Costs regarding payments to third-party providers (e.g., Domain Name registration, Web Hosting, purchase of software licenses/Plugins, advertising budget on Google/Meta, etc.) are non-refundable under any circumstances, as they are paid directly to the respective providers and are governed by their own terms of use.
7. Exceptions & Sole Discretion
Fixit reserves the right to review refund requests on a case-by-case basis and at its sole discretion, without this creating a legal precedent or commitment for future cases.
8. Policy Modification
The Company reserves the right to revise this Policy whenever deemed necessary. Changes take effect from the date of their publication on the Fixit website.
9. Dispute Resolution
For any dispute arising from the application of this policy, the courts of Thessaloniki shall have jurisdiction and Greek Law shall be the governing law.
